prognosis in the era of potent antiretroviral therapy
The ART Cohort Collaboration, which includes 19
cohort studies from Europe and North America, was established to estimate
prognosis of HIV-1 infected, treatment naïve patients initiating
highly active antiretroviral therapy (ART).
The first paper resulting from the collaboration
was published in The Lancet on 13 July 2002. The database now includes
information on over 70,000 patients.
The ART Cohort Collaboration is supported by grants
from the UK Medical Research Council (MRC).
The work of the Collaboration was recently presented
at the 18th Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections
(CROI), Boston February 2011. You can view the posters on the CROI
5th April 2011
